The programme has three central objectives with a significant European added value:
• supporting the transnational mobility of professionals in the cultural sector;
• encouraging the circulation of works of art and artistic and cultural products beyond national borders;
• promoting intercultural dialogue.
The main activities funded through this programme are: Support for cultural cooperation actions (Including those of mobility of artist and works), European capitals of Culture, the support for organizations active in cultural sphere, support for analyses, for the collection and dissemination of information and for the optimization of the impact of projects in the area of cultural cooperation and policy development.
